The valve station has been pre-assembled and tested by the factory to ensure that the valve station meets both dimensional and performance requirements.  Follow basic valve and piping installation practices as found in the AWWA literature.  The following features have been included in the design to assist you.  In general, these features are included to reduce or eliminate any stress on the valves due to misalignment with any mating piping.

* Spin Flanges may have been used on each customer connection to take up rotational misalignment of  the mating piping.

* Misalignment couplers have been used in each line to take up any angular misalignment of the mating piping.

* 1/4" Thick,  Spacer flanges have been used in each line to take up any linear dimensional inaccuracies

* Mounting tabs have been welded to the piping to provide locations for support to the wall if desired.

* Note: Always lift from the headers, not from the individual lines.
