Have DWP check water shut-offs 1 week prior to shut-down.
2
Double check the flow direction that was ordered vs the
desired flow direction against the certified prints prior to
shut-down. Inspect the valve station to verify correct flow
direction.
3
Ensure that the riser dimensions match the certified
print. Ensure that the riser flanges straddle the centerline between
the inlet and outlet flanges.
4
Ensure that you have a few spacer flanges available for each
line size.
5
Ensure that system demand is at zero. Check the meter
reading prior to shut-down to verify zero or near zero flow rate.
6
Flow the risers to clear debris prior to setting the valve
station on the risers. Source to inlet POC should flow clear prior
to setting the valve station.
7
Ensure that a method to create a 2-5 gpm demand on the valve
station is available so that the ACVs can be set.
